Zizzy (Elizabeth) has been a friend of mine
for a number of years. I met her online, in a chat room, as I have many
of my friends. She came out to Washington from the St. Louis, MO. area
for a visit, loved it here, moved here, and lost almost everything in
about 1 year the process. Unemployment was at an all-time high as the
Puget Sound led the US Statistics - A statistic that I hope we never see
again. She is a survivor and is one of the most creative, constructive,
fun, and open-minded people that I have ever met. She is absolutely
passionate about books and reading in general. If you have a book
question, I suggest you ask her for her opinion.
Art is a high school classmate who has done
quite well for himself. He maintains a positive outlook on life and has
successfully tackled some interesting challenges with a style all his
own. I am proud to call him a friend.
When I was in high school, I spent almost
every Friday and Saturday night skating at Tiffany's Skate Inn. There
were also many special skating events such as Halloween and New Years
all-night skate that bring back many fond memories. The business is
still owned and operated by Dennis & Carole King, but their children
have become involved and will probably eventually take over the complete
operation. It is still a wonderful place to spend a few hours on
Saturday nights. I don't skate every Saturday, but I'm there enough to
be recognized by the 'regulars'. I'll try to remember to include some
photographs from there in the Family & Friends area.
Gloria Johnston (McGriff) is also a high
school classmate from WHS.
I met William online a couple of years ago.
We didn't get off to a real good start, but things are better now.
Alisha is a co-worker at EBDG. She and Dale
got engaged recently and will be getting married this summer on Orcas
Island in the upper Puget Sound. I sent her a link to my new website the
other day & she immediately replied "what a coincidence" - she had just
built her first website, as well. Sharing is a good thing, so here's the
link to their site.
This site belongs to my friends Fred & Carol
Taylor in Maine. I worked with Fred for a few years at Gibbs & Cox on
the U.S. Navy's DDG (Aegis Guided Missile Destroyer) program.
Michael is my company's system administrator
and his wife, Sara is a web designer.
