Well I spent some time doing some patching on the front frame to beef it up due to rusted through portions. You can see on the pics the areas I worked and I had to do re-tap some holes and weld in a nut for the RH side. I think I did a really good job here. Had some propblems with broken bolts on the LH side and after breaking a titanium bit I was ablt to patch in a new piece of steel and re-tap 3/8 bolts, (see pic). I also spent some time wire brushing the battery area and underbody as the battery boiled over due to a faulty regulator. The one I have now is not the old mechanical style... the mechanical one got stuck causing the mess to clean up. Really a pain since this area was already replaced with new panel and tray and paint. I've finished brushing the area and use Rust Encapulater on all areas followed by chassis black to give a little more protection. I touched up the export brace but it needs some attention to be fully installed. I've been told the only way to get it on is to raise the engine to get the fenders to spread back out, but that it takes a lot of patience to get it on properly. If you can see from some of the other pages I have a long bolt in place that I was using with my air ratchet to try to force in to line up but it just wasn't enough. I also bought some new MUSTANG emblems for the new trunk lid and patched fenders. I also got a new turn signal lever and Grant install kit to replace some missing parts. I plan to repair the signal cam as well and I also got some set screws to replace the one my body shop buddy lost (just a couple bucks, no big deal). I also got some new sill screws, front bumper, bumper bolts, hood and trunk bumpers, new A/C accumulator/receiver/drier. I blew out the a/c system and I'll do it again then I'll vacuum and charge with some ES12a (Envirosafe... check it out and help save the planet).
