Ok, well I patched all the holes in the interior except for the trunk as well as used seam sealer and Eastwoods Rust Encapsulator. I removed the heater plenum and the air vent and used seam sealer around the cowl area just as a precaution, no leaks but just in case. I cleaned the plenum, got a new heater core and am ordering the gaskets to put it all back together. I bought new leaf springs for the rear from JC Whitney and plan to put KYB GR2 shocks front and rear. Here are some more current progress pics. Note the new partial rear rails, with new shackles. The new leafs will be on shortly. I also added a pic of the loose shock nut, since the welder never tightened them back up after putting in the rails. Geez. you'll also notice that I fixed the ac pulley. The nuts and such that were spacers were not needed. I also installed new thread/bolts... not sure what they're called in the firewall side of the heads, and put in the new exhaust donuts as planned.
