I finished up any minor work on the interior and reinstalled the quarter windows and new weatherstrip for same. I had a lot of trouble with adjusting the quarters to seal to the strip so gave up. I installed the new dash, old trim and gauge cluter. Installed the sound deadener and trunk/seat divider. I started to install the carpet and found a flaw in the carpet I got from YearOne. I've contacted them about the flaw and am waiting to hear back. It's in the corner of the rear foot pass. side so I offered to keep it for a discounted price since this is just for a driver car and I can shoot some black paint to cover it. Otherwise I want want I paid for. I tried my hand at covering the old package tray... didn't want it painted so I got some canvas. Looks ok, but I was concerned about the color fading fast from sunlight so I painted it black also. I'm guessing that the paint will fade slower than just the material. Not a big deal since I bought a new tray that I can put in, I just thought I'd try this first and if I don't like it I can replace it easy enough. I mounted the brite foot switch and the wiper fluid pump/pedal. Had to put new pads for the pump and brake. I'm now looking at stereos. I bought the bezel from NPD to use a modern setup. The front seats are in along with the front seatbelts.
