In the last entry I mentioned I had found a new way to make window while working on the truck sets. I also found a decent method of representing metals like chrome and stainless. One of my first thoughts was to apply the idea to two trainsets I've been working on, the M10000 and the Aerotrain.

The windows are a lot more interesting in the actual shape file (this is a TSM view). I'm not sure the metal looks totally realistic, but it sure looks a lot better than the plain gray you can see on the lower rocker panel.
