...about me
I have been on this wonderful planet for 57 years. Born and raised in Portland, by native Oregonians who were raised by native Oregonians, who were raised by both English and German immigrants who came to Oregon in the 1890's on one side and others that came to this country in the 1770's and migrated west from Virgina by way of Kansas to here in the 1930's.
...my family
consists of a wife, son and three daughters, four grand daughters. We also have three dogs.
...my work
I am an Architect (ark) and have been practicing in the Portland, OR area for over 30 years. Many of my projects can be found in this area, but the ones you will want to see and experience are the ones you can down a brew at. Try most any McMenamins and I may have had something to do with it. Especially Imbrie Hall and Rock Creek Tavern (shown below), the newest. You must check out their link.

...my interests
Golf has always been and will, no doubt, be one of my loves for ever. That is if my knees hold out. Lately, my interest have also included Motorcycle Riding. Not only do I ride them I also maintain them. I guess you can call that a hobby.
...my likes
If those are my interest then my likes will be the same. My wife and I enjoy riding together, she and I both ride Yamaha Virago 1100's and I also ride a Yamaha FJR 1300. We like to tour. We have ridden over 50,000 miles together since 1997. In 2002 we made a 6,600 mile trip up the East Coast. We did Deal's Gap, for those that know. I ride alot more, hence the FJR, have put on a little more than 130,000 miles on five bikes since 1996. Here is a picture of the new FJR at Anthony lakes Oregon, on day 3 of ownership. Right under her is my first bike, Virago 1100, second bike, BMW F650ST, and Third Bike, BMW R1100R.
