*Introduction*
The Moogly Blues Band was founded in early 2005 by Chicago blues influenced vocalist Bill Cannell.
The Moogly Blues Band is: Bill Cannell on vocals. Ken Haubrock on lead/rhythm guitar; he plays with a rock/jazz feel. On guitar and harp is Dan Widner, who has a Piedmont finger-picking blues style that gives the band a signature sound. Dan and Ken also write some of the band’s original music. On bass guitar is Tom Saunders who has a harder bluesy rock background. Tom keeps it simple and in the pocket. On drums is the very versatile Ray Lindquist. Ray has many years of experience on many continents of the globe.
The Moogly Blues Band are influenced by many of the great blues artists such as: BB King, Howling Wolf, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Muddy Waters, Albert Collins, Eric Clapton, and many others.
