HAND IN THE DARK

 Enter a world, foreign untrue

One single mind Now becomes two

Innocent mind, learn to perform

Once knowing soul learn to conform

Innocent soul learn to compete

Following rules, soul incomplete

Curious soul, question the norm

Hearing no answer, enter a storm

World is unsafe, life is a quest

Harden your soul, this is your test

Curious soul, now asking why

Dark winter clouds, hear no reply

Become an adult, society cheers

Crying for help, nobody hears

Enter mid-life, critical choice

Stop for a moment, remember the voice

Hearing a truth, risking it all

Fall to the ground, unable to crawl

Unable to help, fearing the sight

Friends disappear, departing polite

Calling for help, wanting to die

Souls are afraid, fearing my cry

Internal voice, soul remains still

Painful to think, losing self will

Surrender it all, no sign of light

Painfully enter darkness of night

Alone in the dark, shelter obscure

Internal voice growing more clear

Accepting the fate, feeling a hand

Holding on tight, beginning to stand

Take a few steps, learning to walk

New foreign tongue beginning to talk

Soul in the dark able to see

Walk a new path, authentic and free

Hearing acute, compassionate heart

Want to assist, soul must depart

Purpose now clear, passion today

Mission of soul, refreshing new day

Souls in the dark, seeking to find

Extending a hand, one single mind
