April 2, 2008. I purchased a pocket digital camera for those occasions when I wasn't expecting to take photos, but wanted a camera with me just in case. I thought a great test area would be the Happy Days String Band rehearsal hall, because it was in a low light (for cameras) area and I could test in a non-flash, natural light situation. So, here are the "mug shot" results.
I received a couple of emails asking about the digital pocket camera: it's a Panasonic DMC-TZ3. I learned quite a bit, playing with the camera menus, and may take several more photos at the next rehearsal to test what I think I learned.
