May 22, 2008. The students at Farmingdale were one of our best audiences.
While the band was setting up, the music teacher brought in her class who sang a string band number for us. It was great.

One of the Farmingdale teachers put on a string band costume and joined the strutters.
When the students arrived, the job started.
Our Director Bernie Miles encouraged the students to participate and they did with enthusiasm. Some came on stage, some to the piano some in front of the band to sing.
Our strutters were one of the highlights of the show.
The PTA handed out awards.
A most enjoyable event to be sure.
