TAI CHI FIGHTING APPLICATION
Sigung Rudy Duncan will be teaching a seminar on Tai chi as a Combat /Fighting Art Form.The seminar will focus on concepts of softness controls hardness of Yin and Yang, along with Yielding and Striking at the same time. Also participants will learn some push hands and concept of the retreating circle and advancing circle, along with training in three different ranges, close , medium and long.
Sifu Guru Daniel Donzella
FILIPINO MARTIAL ARTS [ARNIS DE MANO]
Sifu Guro Dan Donzella will be teaching Donzella Arnis Filipino fighting arts at the Dragon/Phoenix Martial Arts School in Mass. Sifu Dan will be teaching single and double stick drills and teaching also empty hand techniques known as Panatukan Filipino Boxing. Do not be nervous if you have never used Kali sticks before, Guru Dan will be there to help the 1st time student and enlighten the advanced ones in the same seminar.
Seminars will be 80 minutes each and a half hour lunch break at 1pm.
Applications will be ready for download by May 9th.
Please download and mail applications to reserve your spot. Affiliated schools may give applications paid in full to their Sensei's to reserve your spot.
Requirements/Things you need to have:
Bring an open mind and dojo maners.
Full groin protection for males is required.
Please wear what you would wear to your Dojo.
DPMA students will wear full uniform.
2 Kali/escrima sticks will be needed for Stick Seminar

Mr. Rebelo featured presentor & Judge at Wu Tang Center's 9TH annual HALL OF FAME OPEN 2005 INTERNATIONAL CHINESE MARTIAL ARTS TOURNAMENT
October 2005- Akron, Ohio:
Mr. Rebelo was one of the featured judges at this event, hosted by Master Tony Yang's Wu Tang Center for Martial Arts. The tournament was held at the University of Akron & featured competitors, masters and celebrities from as far away as mainland China! "Sifu" Rebelo was surprised and honored to be asked to perform in the "Master's Demonstration" featured at the opening ceremonies for the tournament. He demonstrated the form "bum bu" (the master form of the various northern mantis styles that wang lang had all styles use to identify one another).
William Horne, Mr.Rebelo's present senior Kung Fu student, then competed in Empty Hand & Weapon Forms. Bill came home with a Silver Medal in intermediate weapons wielding his Double Melon Hammers! After driving for over 12 hours to the event and assisting with the setup of the tournament the day before, Mr. Horne is to complimented for his tenacity & endurance. The next day,Sifu Rebelo was privilaged to participate in "Praying Mantis Sword" seminar with one of the Featured "Tai Chi Plum Blossom Mantis" masters. It was a great honor to represent Wu Tang of New England at this wonderful gathering!

Mr. Rebelo's joins the World Martial Arts Federation at the WMAF 2005 Spring Tournament
May 2005- Boston, MA:
Mr. Rebelo was one of the featured judges at this event,Hosted by World Combat Arts Federation and in a ceremony before the asembled competitors,Judges & spectators,offically joined the WMAF and received a special plaque honoring him for his efforts within the organization. Mr.Rebelo has been a judge for Kenpo,Kung Fu & Tai Chi Divisions for several years.

January 22, 2005- Hyannis, MA:
Mr. Rebelo was one of the featured instructors at this event,Hosted by CCMAA founder, Mr. Chris Hatch at the Cape Codder Resort. Assisted by Mr.Matthew Barnes,Fledgling Kempo Historian,The event was a conglomeration of various martial artists. Prof.Feliciano"Kimo" Ferreira of the Kempo Jutsu Kai of Hawaii, Mark Pina, formerly of New Bedford Kempo Karate & Cardio Kickboxing instructor at BCC,Arthur Sennott of Systema New England.

Mr. Rebelo promoted in David German's T.A.I. (Transition Action Incorporated] and KENPO KARAT
November 15, 2004- New Bedford, MA:
Mr. Rebelo was promoted to the rank of "Godan" [Fifth Degree Black Belt] by Grandmaster David German in his art of T.A.I. [Transition Action Incorporated] & in Ed Parker's American Kenpo Karate. Mr. German, on a tour of New England, promoted Mr. Rebelo due to his long time training in the martial arts and his study of the art of TAI and his 22 year study of Mr. Parker's system.
David German is one of the oldest "Kenpo Seniors", having studied with Mr. Parker at his original studio, having helped build the walnut street location as well as having been instrumental in the process of the creation of the forms,techniques and sets of what is now refered to as "American Kenpo". He has been featured on the covers of "Black Belt","Budo International" magazines as well as being nominated for Black Belt and inside Kung fu's Hall of Fame, where he received Honorable Mention in 1983,along with Ralph Castro & Jay T. Will for "Kenpo Instructor of the Year".
