Gerry Milnes came down to Clifftop, from Augusta, for the weekend events.

Betty Vornbrock and Bill Cornette hosted a small tribute to Wilson Douglas at their campsite.
This pic (of Kim Johnson on banjo and Scott Prouty on fiddle) and a few following are from
that tribute.

Here are a bunch of the folks who came to the tribute. I don't know most of them, but Kim Johnson is 
easing my embarrassment by giving the following names: Leiselotta Heil, unknown, Andrew Dunlap,
Terry Hayes, Kate Long. Thanks Kim!!!

I then hurried over to the mainstage to catch the show that the Hoover Uprights gave, their booty from their having won the traditional stringband contest in 2003. Bill Schmidt on fiddle, Dave Rice on harmonica, Kate Brett on banjo, John Schwab on guitar, and Kevin Enoch on bass.

Here are Carl Jones and his daughter getting in some final tunes as we all were packing to leave on Sunday morning, which crept into afternoon.
Here is Tim Brown, who was camped next to me and bravely hosted innumerable CD release parties, also had many late running jams at his camp yet was always up (and volunteering to make me the coffee I so desperately needed) early the next morning. Thanks Tim!!!!

I'm trying to get some playing time in before dinner chez Hoovers.

I recruited a few of the Hoover's to accompany me at my performance on Saturday afternoon:
Kevin on bass, Bill on banjo, and John on guitar. What a fun time "practicing" with them

I borrowed one of the Enoch Tradesman banjos to try and play along with Michael and Sophie's session but they played all sorts of stuff I didn't know, so I faked it, but not enough to fool anyone.
