Hi..My Robert Lee Kersey was born 16 July 1885 In Auburn,Sebastian Cty,Ar...married Harriet Eliz Coates around 1902 in Gadsden,Al and then Anna Lee,d.1 Jan1937 in Toledo,Ohio.(by the way I was able to locate a death certificate but no birth Cert)

There is another Robert L. Kersey my cousin Martha Ford mentioned in a letter to another cousin that there was a Robert L Kersey b1870 to Henry Kersey and Sarah Payne and that Robert married a Stella Brow or Brown and lived around Poteau, Oklahoma. He was interviewed and written up in 1937,I believe, as part of an Indian history.

There was a Fannie Carpenter Kersey who married a Wm Jasper Kersey d.1919 (his folks were from Ala. and Geo. They had no children but have an adopted son,R.L.Kersey and some think the is the Robt Kersey 19 who married a Letha Doris 16, 25th Dec.1912 in Walls,Ok..signed by W.J.(the J.could have stood for Jasper) Kersey parent or guardian.

My gggrandfather Stephen N Kersey is the Brother to Wm Henry Kersey (wife

Poly Ann Parker)who is the father of the Wm Jasper (wife Fannie

Carpenter) who adopted that R.L.Kersey.(Iwonder who his birth parents

are)...I hope I explained myself..it gets confusing...since I have both

Paternal and Maternal direct KERSEYS

Marve,If that gguncle of mine Wm H Kersey is not listed with Poly Ann Parker and their children, maybe I should list them with you..

Marve,I have signed up for some computer classes and maybe I will learn how to change your email from 1 long line to several short ones!!!Wish me luck....Pege...

Hi Hugh--

Thanks very much for all the English connections. No, it wasn't I that changed Frances to Francis. I learned my lesson with Layne ;-) I guess it was the census takers who continued to spell your name without the "A" in 1860?

Hi Pat--

I, for one, would surely like to see that Edward Kersey and Anna King group sheet information. Also the dates on Mary Matilda and Jesse M. Kersey too, please.

Thanks,

Hi folks--
