I just found a whole website dedicated to the Chenoweth Family, which is also my husband family. Listed among them are some Kerseys. Does this ring a bell with any of our Kersey's ? D. Buffum

Madison County Florida Marraiges: Charles Kersey to Anna Bramlet---Dec 16, 1886 Eliza Kersey to Cophill Hayslip---Dec 29, 1872 Sorry, Rose, but he is not listed as being married in the State. Is it possible he was married before he moved to Fl, or he could have gone to where ever Edna Bishop was from and gotten married Could be any number of reasons. They could have run away and gotten married, and moved backto Fl. A lot of people go across the line into the State that borders where they are from. that has happend in several of my family lines give me your Grandfathers name and I will give you the day as well as the year. I somehow omitted the day. Sorry I couldn't help D. Buffum

Wonder what the future holds for our grandchildren?? Thanks to Bill Gates we are able to do this. He is in my line. My grandma Kersey was a Gates. Now, does anyone hold claim to Catherine Kersey who married John P Chenoweth October 18, 1838 in Indiana ? They were both from Kentucky. No birthdates as yet. Again Thank you for all of your hard work. D. Buffum
