End corporate welfare and government subsidies.

Why do we live in Portsmouth? - As my wife and I were traveling the country trying to decide where we would like to land after our children moved out to start their own lives, we discovered Portsmouth and fell in love like most people who visit this great little city. So, here we are.
Reason for Running - I am running for New Hampshire State Representative because I am optimistic that with independent leadership and a common sense vision, we can build a more neighborly New Hampshire, a more enlightened America, and a more peaceful world.
Emphasis - I will be a champion for the Portsmouth-based small businesses, retailers, arts organizations, civic nonprofits, and restaurants that make Portsmouth one of the best places to live in America.
In my letter to the Portsmouth Herald, I call for reason and civility in the political process.
