These two videos show opening a folding Karambit using what might be called a reverse inertia opening. This idea is for when there is a high probability that you may be attacked were it would be really nice to have your tool in hand with only a flick of the wrist to open it along with having your finger in the safety ring for protection against dropping your tool. Watch the videos, nothing all that special other then thinking about this as an addition to your toolbox of tricks.
