Listening to aviation frequencies is not
regulated in the United States... However be warned and careful in other countries as the reception of military communications could land you in jail as a spy. Using an aviation frequency (Air-Band) radio to transmitt outside of an aircraft with an airport authority declaration is considered a felony unless its a legitimate emergency. Transmitting on military frequencies can also be ugly. |
