Got Rat?

introduction

First, the usual warnings, this page is mainly an experiment on my part and a learning experience for me, so it will probably change fairly often without notice. If I have a site on here that you really like, be sure to add it to your bookmark file as I will not guarantee that everything that shows up here will stay forever, some will and some won't.

This page consists largely of pointers to sites that I find interesting, amusing, or both. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. If you encounter any problems, feel free to drop me a note. Now on to the good stuff!

The Links

Due to the discontinuation of the HearMe (TM) service, I have been forced to remove the audio chat rooms from my site. I am seeking a similar free service and if I ever find one, rest assured I will resume providing a place for people to chat.

If the text of Joe's jokes just isn't enough for you, you'll be glad to know that we are in the process of developing a service that will provide actual audio clips from some of Joe's shows. We are considering using one of the free internet hard drives that allow users to download files from, however these seem to be rapidly disappearing. If anyone has any suggestions or would like to donate some space, please Email Tom

acknowledgements

I would like to take a moment to thank those who have helped me with this growing work.

  1. First, thanks to my wife Mary Beth for putting up with the hours of me sitting at the computer working on these projects.
  2. Second thanks to JDD Doran-Jammer who first got me interested in this HTML business more years ago than I care to admit.
  3. Also, thanks to my classmates at Access Technology Institute for providing feedback and support during this and other projects.
  4. Last but certainly not least, thanks to Cathy Anne Murtha for her help in explaining such mysterious aspects of html as ordered and unordered lists, tables, and many other things that I am sure I am forgetting.
