The stated purpose of the Royal Oak Republican Women's Club is to:
- Strengthen the interest and effectiveness of women in Republican politics and activities.
- Work for the election of the Republican Party's nominees.
- Promote an informed electorate through political education.
- Educate women voters in the principles of and enlist them in the ranks of the Republican Party.
- Promote programs suggested by the Oakland County Council of Republican women's Clubs in cooperation with other member-clubs.
- Foster loyalty to the Republican party and to promote its ideals.
Current issues of concern to the Royal Oak Republican Women's Club are:
- Homeland Security: what is the City of Royal Oak doing to protect it's Citizens
- Taxation: reducing taxes and cutting spending in order to reduce the size of government
- Social Security: returning the system to solvency using personal savings accounts
- Education: what is the Royal Oak school board doing to improve the quality of education provided to our youth
- Jobs: what can the City and State do to create a more favorable business environment
- Environment: what can the City and State do to protect our natural resources
- Voter participation: how can this organization increase the turnout of Royal Oak republicans in future elections
