Next boutique: September 23 Okay, I will get to packing tonight and mailing by Thursday if I am not remaking you beads - if I am doing a remake, it will be this weekend. Why? Because I'm crazy, that's why! And, I love making murrini beads.... and, I have several new blends to try out. I also have a request for more of the seed bead spool beads and some colorful encased diamonds - so I will try to do something besides murrini beads in upcoming updates. If you would like to see something, let me know! Tomorrow I have my pre-evaluation meeting.... let's hope it all goes well since I LOVE where I work! I haven't been this excited about teaching or bead making in years. Love murrini.... love the Grizzlies! Tomorrow night is a Broadway and Beyond show - I have lots of kids in it, so that's where I will be tomorrow night. Gotta go see them sing and dance.... so cute! Then I'll need to hit a football game too - sure keeps me busy and keeps me young : )
September 22 I will get things in the mail in a couple of days - right now I need a little sleep - I've been way too busy lately! However, I will get to packing on Wednesday and mailing by Thursday : )
September 14 Okay, I'm going to share some stuff.... First, a
picture of my backyard. I just love it out there : ) And next, some grizzly beads : ) Okay, that's all the news for now : ) I need to go do some math, yippee..... September 13 Two days in a row? Well, that's because I made beads today! So, I've decided on a date for my next update - next week. By then I should be all ready to go! Whew - things are getting balanced and back to normal. More later : ) September 12 Okay, I know, it's been over a month since I've been here - pretty boring on my site, huh? However, my life has been anything but boring. I'm starting to think I should just Face Book so I can talk about it and have people comment back - I've been watching Lori and Linda and Sarah do it and it looks fun, though I'd never admit it to them since I've been resisting now for a year or so : ) Anyway, I got a job on Friday at 5:00 2 hours from where I was living. It started on Monday. So week one was spent staying with my friend Alicia and then living in a hotel because the commute was rather long and to avoid traffic I had to leave her house at 5:30 am. That weekend mom came to help me find a house. I found the most wonderful house to rent and went home to pack the old house that weekend. I hadn't started. Mid-week 2 I got to move into the new place and sleep on an air mattress. Mid-week 3 the moving truck moved me in and I spent the following weekend unpacking boxes and setting up house. By week 4 I was doing good, I got my first grades in on time, and that weekend Lori came and we made murrini. It was a 3 day weekend so Linda came to play too - it was a lot of fun. This last week I started running the tutoring center after school and went to evening practices for the night rally - I am also the freshmen class advisor. And now we are at this weekend and you are caught up... but if you are thinking, "holy cow, when does she sleep?" you would be thinking what I think! Anyway, sorry for such a long absence, but I LOVE my new school. The teachers are great, the kids are great, I like what I'm teaching, although I have 3 classes and none are the same. I have lot of great new murrini and tomorrow is torch day for me. I did math on Friday night, I've unpacked all day today, so tomorrow is for fun. Anyway, I will try to keep you updated and answer any emails (I've been behind on that too) and have an update soon - I have some very pretty beads ready to go from my last cancelled update, but not many, so I'm going to get a few more first. Anyway, if anyone is out there, thanks for sticking around!
