Conklin Black and Bronze Endura Restoration

This pen was generally worn down, and the clip was in particularly bad condition; unusually, it appeared to be gold plated over nickel as opposed to gold filled as are most, and the plating was completely shot, with plenty of corrosion to the substrate, too.

I spiffed up the trim, gave a light polish to the celluloid (I just didn’t think this pen would look right with a high-gloss finish), and I restored the colored grooves to the classy ochre shade they once sported.
