Parker 61 Dent Reversal

This Parker 61 cap not only had three major dents and numerous scratches (including the classic clip-ball indentation), the owner had attempted to improve matters by poking around inside the cap, resulting in the rarely-seen raised crease or three.

This item let me know who was boss from the start; it took the whole time I had allotted to the job just pulling out the cap clutch (I think I’ll make a tool for that!). The restoration was also rather challenging, though it turned out rather well in the end.
