The trim on this black-and-pearl cap has been completely restored. Below are a couple of pictures, one of the whole cap, and a close-up of the clip.

Note the absence of telltale transition lines at the top of the clip and on the ball, both of which were typically brassed, and the overall smoothness of the finish.
