BR> Are your furballs having flea problems all the time? Are these critters biting you? Over one billion dollars is spent every year on flea control products. These pesky little buggers feed on your furballs blood and can eventually cause anemia! You can take control!


REMEDIES:

Look for all natural flea shampoos. Your furball may not like being bathed but will feel much better once those buggies are not biting anymore!


You will have to clean all their bedding. Clean carpets etc. We do not recommend any type of flea foggers as they are just plain dangerous!


We have recently found flea drops that get applied down their back to their tail that contain NO PESTICIDES! They come 3 tubes in a package, each lasting a month. Costs just under $8.00 too for 3 months! They are called Gentle Touch by Farnam. They obviously work due to having 2 outdoor (fenced in) cats who love to roll in the tall grass and bushes and have not had one flea since using this stuff.


If you want to also put a flea collar on your pet go for the natural collars that contain extracts from plant oils and herbs. We have ridden all of our cats from flea collars the above drops work so well!


Do not use products for dogs on cats and vice versa as they can seriously harm or kill the other animal.


PLEASE! Do not use any of those harmful sprays with insecticide! There are well known sprays out there that are actually causing death to animals. Sprays that we used to use years ago! After mentioning it to our vet just recently, he fully agreed and said in the past year they have had 8 animals come in from flea insecticide poisoning from products sold at your local supermarkets and stores!


What it comes down to is if you want to rid the fleas, dont put anything on your pet that you wouldnt dare put on yourself! It could kill them!


Recently I have learned that cedar based cat litters repels fleas. Besides it smells much better and cats prefer it, at least ours do after doing a test of 3 types of litter at the same time.
