The Clouded Leopard is found mostly in Nepal to southern China, Taiwan,
Sumatra and Borneo. Liking dense forests.
They are rather small being 24 to 42 inches long. They weigh up to 49 pounds.
Diet includes but not limited to gazelles, antelope, goats, wild pigs,
domestic livestock, monkeys, dogs and bat eared foxes. They hunt mainly
at night and alone.
The clouded leaopard is not considered a true leopard. Scientists can
not agree on whether it is more closely related to the puma or the big
cats.
They are very difficult to spot or track in the wild leaving alot of
questions unanswered.
