Cubs develop their social, hunting and fighting skills through play.
Early play takes the form of pawing,chasing and in smaller cats, back
arching. After two to three months, play involves more stalking,
pouncing, wrestling, and playing with objects...all skills used in
hunting and killing. Young cats also exercise their muscles during
play and develop quick physical reactions.
