I have always been fascinated by the
weather. I also had quite an interest in trains. In 2001 my
previous employer went through a massive reorganization and I took
advantage of the situation to live out my dream of working for the
railroad. It is actually not nearly as romance filled as most
people believe, as you can see by this photo, "How I spent
Thanksgiving 2006." I currently work as a yardmaster for the
Union Pacific at S. St. Paul. I have been into serious photography
since 1975, and have also done wedding photography in the past to
supplement income. I am also interested in graphic arts and
design.
Here is my "posse", storm chasing partners-wife Barbara and my daughter Brianna chasing tornadoes in South Dakota on September 16, 2006. We saw 3 of the 10 tornadoes reported to the NWS this day.
