In our quest to understand the complexity of the 1865-1877 era, we are going to investigate how people reacted to these challenging times by looking at primary and secondary sources.  Each of us will find at least 3 sources from this time period.  What you research may include the following:

 

 

 

Print and save to a flash drive what you discover in your research, and bring it to our next class to be shared and discussed.

Your findings will be projected on the polyvision board…J

 

 

GOALS:

 

1. The purpose of this research is to help us understand how different people reacted to these challenging times, and whether they embraced or resisted the changes being made during Reconstruction.

 

2. Ultimately, we will evaluate the successes and failures of Reconstruction-

Politically, socially and economically.
