What possessed me to come up with this idea?
Well, it started shortly after I had read two Ranma fanfics, "Ranma of Grayskull" and "Golden Lining," that were kind of silly crossovers. What impressed me with these stories was that they were odd ideas, but the stories were done seriously. The stories were done so well that I wanted to see if I could think up a silly crossover and try to pull off a serious story (or at least somewhat serious, Ranma 1/2 is a comedy after all).
Sometime later (it might have been about 2 weeks, I can't remember), the idea came to me while I was adding to my obscure MP3 collection. I decide to try and add the "My Little Pony" theme to the "TV" folder. When the idea hit me, for the first few seconds I just treated the idea as a joke, but the more I though about it, the more I could see a potential story. Whether I can live up to said potential, we'll just have to see.
