BrickCon 2009!
LEGOs really are fun.
BrickCon is taking place in Seattle this weekend, and this year I'm a registered attendee! I only wish I had planned a bit better & taken yesterday off work so I had more time there to really soak it all up. But I'm making the most of it and having fun - seeing old friends and LOTS of amazing LEGO creations. The one above is mine, (assembled quickly for the event, so Louise and I had an excuse to go in early during set-up). This one below is my fave - a SUPER DETAILED Japanese Garden that is BIG and has some awfully clever building techniques going on.
What else - Rain has returned to Seattle. Ski Season is coming. I'm headed to China in a little over a week. Life is good.

Edited to remove Pandora widget. I should know better than to embed goofy shockwave things in my blog - long, slow loads are no fun.

Ahh - Life.
Let's see....
Louise is 7. Our whirlwind end-of-summer is wrapping up (only 2.5 weeks 'til school starts!). We finally saw Caspar BabyPants (at the Arts in Nature festival here in W. Seattle) and picked up his CD. The Deck is Stained. Barecelona FC played here in Seattle. Figs and blackberries are in season.
Yes, life is good.
