Truly Incremental IFT

To have a truly uniform progression between IFT FP columns, add a black 12-sided die to your dice cup. Color digits 1-3 green, digits 4-6 yellow, digits 7-9 red, and digits 10-12 black. Then follow the procedure described below.

Benefits: all you need is the IFT. Figuring the effects are simple, and you don't have to arrange stacks to get just over the next FP increment anymore.

Procedure: Determine total FP as if you were using the IIFT, but use the IFT to lookup the result. Roll a white and color six-sided die and one black twelve-sided die.

I. If FP = IFT column, or if you Cower, then ignore the black 12-sided die.

II. If FP < 24, but does not = an IFT column:
(a) Determine your “incremental” FP (the column you would use on the IIFT). Three incremental FP columns exist between every IFT column. (Between FP 1 and FP 2, there exist: 1.25, 1.5, 1.75.)
(b) Use one of the bracketing IFT FP columns to lookup the result, depending on the color of the 12-sided die. The closer you are to the higher FP column, the more often you jump to it. Mnemonic: green always, yellow often, red rarely, black never.
EX: Your FP is between 8 and 12. Use the IFT FP column indicated in the table below:

III. If FP > 24, but does not = an IFT column:
(a) Figure out your incremental FP. There are 5 incremental FP columns between every IFT column. (Between FP 24 and FP 30 there are the following FP columns: 25, 26, 27, 28 and 29.)
(b) Use one of the bracketing IFT FP columns to determine the result, depending on the digit of the black die.
EX: Your FP is between 24 and 30. Use the indicated IFT FP column:

(Or in other words, double the FP by which you exceed the lower IFT FP column: you must roll <= to that number to jump to the higher IFT FP column.)

IV. * Vehicle Row:
Use the black dice just as you would for Small Arms fire. If the black die says jump to the higher IFT column, compare your DR to the higher column * Vehicle value.

V. Gun Caliber:
(a) Divide the caliber interval by 4 if < 24 FP, and by 6 otherwise, and proceed as above.
EX: If your are using a 57mm Gun (which falls between the 6-FP 50mm column and the 8-FP 60mm column), you round it down to 55mm. If the black die is green or yellow, you jump to the 8 FP column; otherwise you fall to the 6 FP column. (b) There are 3 spots where the math looks intimidating:
(1) 30mm to 37mm: there are no published Guns in this increment. (If there were, you’d use 31, 33 and 35.)
(2) 37mm to 50mm: use 40, 43 and 46. (Think of them as 40, 45 and 47—the only ASL calibers in this range.)
(3) 150mm and 200mm: here the increment is 8.333. The only Guns in this range are 155mm (which rounds down to 150mm), and 170 (which needs a 1-4 on the black die to jump up to the 200 mm IFT column.)

Variants:
Treat any PTCs on a higher IFT column as CTCs.
Add FP columns between 0 and 1.
