KOKONDO MARTIAL ARTS MRL

Master Robert Longo passed away 2 years ago on June 24, 2002. On the anniversary of his death and with the International seminar coming soon, we at Kokondo Martial Arts MRL thought is would be an appropriate time for all Kokondo-ka to remember this great man.
To help us remember him and keep his memory alive I have asked Shihan Paul Arel, Master Longo's sensei and friend, along with several people who Mr. Longo called friend and student to share their memories with us.

(6/9/1933 - 6/24/2001)

Master Robert Longo was the National Director for the International Kokondo Association (IKA) and Jukido International, IKJA Inc. until his death in June of 2001. Master Robert Longo taught at Hombu in Newington Connecticut, right along side Shihan Paul Arel. Master Longo was a 9th dan in Kokondo karate. He began his training with Shihan Paul Arel in 1972 and was a member of the prestigious Black Belt Club. Mr. Longo was husband, father, grandfather, retired nuclear engineer and NRA handgun instructor.
