Two things first off:

 

1) I really could use a logo for Alien. I am not an artist.

 

2) I wonder how long it will take for people to realize why images from Alien(s) are here.

 

As of right now, the driver loads, gets asked to probe everything HID on the machine (including the built-in keyboard, interestingly enough, even though I tried to match only certain devices), and eventually will attach to the N52 without any annoyances. I don’t know what this will do when you have Nostromo Array and Alien on the same machine yet. I am curious who will win a driver war between Alien and Nostromo, but not curious enough to try it on my iMac G5 yet. ;)

 

Oh, and using the mouse wheel currently modifies the LED lights that the N52 has. The next trick is to get two drivers talking to each other. The N52 appears to the system as a keyboard, and a mouse, combined, and I attach to each, rather than the device as a whole. If I can do this without too much pain and performance suffering, I can move forward with a clear head.
