Cape May is my favorite birding spot for obvious reasons. Some of my resent trips to Cape May:

November 2003 - Cape May NJ

Both Kinglets were numerous; Golden-crowned Kinglet and Rudy-crowned Kinglet. Also took pictures of Eastern Phoebe, Hermit Thrush, Cooper's Hawk and this Black and White Warbler about to have breakfast!!

Sparrows have taken over Higbee; Swamp Sparrows, White-crowned Sparrows, White-throated Sparrow, UFO Sparrow 1 (1st winter White-throated?) and UFO Sparrow 2 (Chipping Sparrow?) among others. Saw 2-3 dozen of Palm Warblers. Good number of raptors icluding this Northern Harrier

October 5th 2003 - Cape May NJ

Very productive trip on the 5th. Great images of an American Bittern ( 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 ) at the Meadows (thanks to some fellow birders!!). Higbee Beach was lots of fun as well; Blue-headed Vireo, Least Flycatcher, Black-throated Green Warbler, Black-and-White Warbler, Brown Thrasher and Black Vulture are some of the birds I took pictures of. Yellow-rumped Warblers were all over Higbee (69,000+ were counted in the morning alone!). Also saw 3 to 4 Rudy-throated Hummingbirds.

September 2003

Numerous trips to Higbee Beach, the Meadows and the Cape May Point State Park resulted in only a few images of; Northern Waterthrush, Red-eyed Vireo, White-eyed Vireo, Yellow Warbler, Pied-billed Grebe, Royal Tern and Common Eider.

July 12 2003 - Cape May Point NJ

I was lucky enough to take some shots of Piping Plovers ( 1 - 2 ) The Oystercatcher nest was no longer occupied, but the pair was still in the area ( 1 - 2 ). Least Terns were also a common site ( 1 - 2 ).
