Description: Although existing across cultures and times, the stories of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people were, until recently, largely ignored, destroyed or suppressed. This course will explore the experiences, history and contributions of LGBT people through the multi-disciplinary lenses of the social sciences, psychology, literature and personal experience. All lively minds are welcome. The class will be held from 7PM to 9:30PM over a span of ten Wednesday evenings starting Jan. 6th.
