What is 8th Summit?

The term "8th Summit" is my own creation, a take-off of the more popular "Seven Summits" phrase used to refer to the highest peaks on the seven continents.

8th Summit is a concept that describes the next great challenge. It's thinking out-of-the box to arrive at a solution. It's the feeling a climber has when he's asked what his favorite peak is, and he responds "the next one." It's looking forward, not resting on your laurels, but seeking out that place or thing that nobody has ever seen or done before.
