Inspiration and Provocation
|
I
believe the 21st century is the century for customization, where
we'll see the end of mass manufacturing. We have the technology
to do that today. The bigger changes are behavior and process changes,
not technology. It will be the ecosystem enabled by technology that
will drive change. Technology by itself is overrated. It enables
less than 1% of what needs to happen before your vision becomes
realized.

Guatemala 928
- August, 2009, I returned to Guatemala for the first time since 1961. I served with a mission team bringing health education and dental care to isolated and impoverished communities, but took an extra week there as vacation. The team Web site (which I put together) is here.

What's (relatively) new?
- My blog in transit-oriented development and community
- My Facebook page, with photos from several recent adventures.
- Correspondence with C. S. Lewis
1955-1958, including high-def scans of Lewis's original letters, so you can see his handwriting and even the effects of using a pen dipped in a pot of ink.
