My Interests

Thanks to my recent weight loss, I've found a couple of new interests!  I've discovered that I'm the "Outdoorsy" type.  I've recently fallen in love with my Sevylor Canoe and my newly handed down bike!  

I've always known that I love being near water.  As a kid, you couldn't get me out of my best friend/next door neighbors pool, but I didn't realize until very recently that I still love the water.   Our best friends just bought a boat and invited us out on the lake a couple of weekends ago.  I could have stayed out there all day.  I see many more trips out in my near future.  I've also been hanging out at the lake floating around in my new little Canoe.  I love just floating and soaking up the sun.  (With sun block on - of course!!)  I think we will be buying a motorized water craft of our own next summer.  A boat and or a Seadoo.  I'm not sure if that's how it's spelt, but that's what I want....

Dan just bought himself a new bike, so I inherited his old one.  It's a great bike and I love riding it.  It rained here randomly last Thursday, so Dan and I took a ride in the rain.  It was so incredible.  I also found I love riding at night.  We've got head and tail lights, so it's fun to ride around and run our errands instead of taking the car to do them.  I really can't believe I'm actually electing to ride my bike instead of taking the car.  The Me of a year ago would have thought that was MAD!  I've take some pictures of me being "Active" and I'll put them up here shortly......

I'm a major Tori Amos fan.  I'll be creating a Tori page soon.  I don't really have much to post on there, but I will post something.  I don't have any pictures with her or anything, so we'll see what I come up with.  When we saw her in concert last December, we did see her out in front of the theater in San Francisco.  Unfortunately the pictures that we took didn't turn out, so you can't really see her, so I'll have to come up with something else.
