Norwegian Cruise Lines Pearl - Western Caribbean Oct. 14-19, 2007
Norwegian Cruise Line's Pearl
was chosen for Cruises Inc.'s 2006 National Conference at Sea, "A League of our Own".
My wife, who is a Cruise Specialist, was kind enough to invite me to be her guest to the conference. I would never turn down a chance
to go on a cruise, so of course, I consented. At last year's conference, NCL passed out plastic bowling pins to signify one unique
feature aboard the Pearl. It has a small bowling alley, a first for the cruise industry.
There was a small Cruise Critic Roll Call group chatting.
Usually we'd be active on the thread, but with two other cruises earlier this year, we just didn't have time to be active. Also, since we
knew the conference would take up our time, there wasn't any point in planning any shore excursions.
The conference actually started on Saturday, October 13th at the Marriott Biscayne Bay Hotel .
Due to flight schedules, we actually flew to Miami Friday, October 12th, making this a 7-night cruise vacation.
We've been to the Western Caribbean before. We love shopping in Grand Cayman .
There's lots to do in Cozumel, Mexico even if you've been there before. Read on to learn about our cruise.

As usual, I will describe the ports that we visited on our cruise. On this particular sailing, several
shore excursion tours were possible.
Visit the page for each port to find out what activities were held in each port.
