This cruise was one of those Magical Opportunities that don't come along often in a life-time. My wife is a Cruise Specialist
and is obviously on many email mailings from the various Cruise Lines.
Disney Cruise Line was offering a travel agent rate
on the Disney Wonder for one of their
special sailings to the Southern Caribbean.
The offer had very limited availability and in fact, the first time she called Disney Reservations, she was told there was no availability at this time.
One of the other agents in her agency told her to keep trying since agents had to book the reservation within one hour of their initial call.
If they weren't able to do so, their offer would expire.
Since we already had four cruises booked this year, I had no more vacation time, but told her to ask a friend and then make a reservation if she could get in.
Persistence paid off and she was able to get a Verandah Cabin guarantee on the September 7th sailing. Our 30th Wedding Anniversary is September 11th, but I
told her to go ahead and book it anyway. While I am sad that I wasn't able to go on this cruise, I can't complain because we've been cruising for over 20 years.
And so, the magical journey to the Southern Caribbean was about to begin. Check below for the
Special Ports that Disney Wonder visited on this cruise.
Come along with Tinkerbell, the Godmother of the Wonder, and learn more about this magical cruise.
Continue with their embarkation port, Port Canaverasl, Florida , or learn more about the other
Ports of Call
by visiting the South Caribbean Start Page or Disney Cruise Line website.
Check out the various Shore Excursions
offered by Disney in these ports.
