GRANT APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

FOR RICHMOND COMMUNITY SCHOOLS

 

Teachers, Coaches, Parents, Students and Staff:

 

The Richmond Athletic Club Endowment (RACE) Fund welcomes you to the tenth year (2008) of grants made available by the Fund to Richmond Community Schools ONLY.  Student grants are not based on income.

 

Attached is an application form for students, coaches, and teachers to apply for a sports camp, scholarship, or other project or program.  Please complete all sections of the form and mail if interested.    If you would like a copy of the grant policies or have any questions, please direct them to Kyle Stark at 727-5005 or email at kstark18@comcast.net

 

Instructions:

 

1.       Do research to determine what needs are not being met for your field of interest and directly related to the goals set by the fund. Academic cross-curricular sports related learning is encouraged.

2.       Please complete the Grant Application Form attached by printing neatly in ink or typing information.

3.       Please submit the number of copies requested.

4.       Please do not include any materials other than those specifically requested at this time.

5.       DISTRIBUTE FORMS TO ANY INTERESTED STUDENTS………..PLEASE

 

The goal set by the fund is to:

 

Ø      support competitive athletics, intramural, and recreational sports programs for K-12

Ø      support health and fitness projects for students K-12

Ø      support other needs such as scholarships for college and sports camps

To be included in the Grant Review, the application form and 10 additional copies must be received at the Richmond High School Office-Boosters mailbox on or before Monday May 12, 2008. (Extended to May 22, 2008)  Student grants are not made based on income. Do not leave anything blank.
