Much to our delight, upon arriving at Sauder Village for the IVth annual MMIG get-together we found that Mark Matthews had created a new generation of 1/2empty-1/2 full marbles. It's been 14 years since he last made these. They were in the most glorious shades of autumn, so appropiate for our October weekend. Yellows and oranges with chocolate ribbons were all ready for inspection and Sunday found him working on a new batch with a slate blue background ribbon. This is my first time watching the creation of this particular style and it was fascinating. I took many pictures of the process and you can see them in the photo section of this edition.
