A special addition to our MMIG weekend was a trip to Toledo to the Museum of Art where we toured the newly opened Glass Pavilion. Opened in August of 2006 , this glorious building is as much a work of art as the collection it houses. It not only allows visitors to view glass through the ages in 5 separate galleries, it has a state of the art studio for glass-working where one can observe the professionals at work or take a class and become a participant. Plan to visit!!!!
