This week’s dinner ride will be to Logan’s Road House. We will leave the Pilot Station on Belair road and I-20 at 630 for a short ride good food and great fellowship.

Also we have a ride scheduled to High Falls State Park for Chapter A’s Fun day. We will leave the Pilot station on Belair road and I-20 at 8am for the short ride to Jackson Ga. There is a 5 dollar charge which includes lunch. There is also a 3 dollar parking charge since it is at a state park. They will also be giving away the travelers plaque. It would be nice to have it at least once this year and if we get it all we have to do is carry it to Wind Down next month. Come on out for a nice ride and great fellowship.

We are planning a ride to the Blue Ridge parkway on 9 October. We were going in September but I can’t go till October.

Please contact Larry real soon as we have to make hotel reservations. Please let me know if you can go. We will ride to Virginia and get on the Park way and stay at the motel. Then the next day we will ride south on the parkway towards Cherokee and spend the night there

This Saturday we will leave the Pilot Station on Belair road and I-20 at 9am to ride to Juliette Ga. This is where the movie Fried Green Tomatoes was filmed. The weather is supposed to be great with a high of 88 degree’s and no rain. We should have a great time.

This Thursday the dinner ride will be to the Lil Dutch house in Wrens. We will leave the Pilot Station on Belair road and I-20 at 630 pm for a nice ride, good food, and great fellowship. In case of rain the alternate will be the Harbor Inn on Wrightsboro road.

Remember tonight is the night we ride to the VA and visit the troops who have given so much for us. We have Gift certificates for each of them and will be handing them out. We will leave the Pilot Station on Belair road and I-20 at 630 and our appointment at the VA is 7pm. You can meet at the VA if you prefer. These soldiers have been through so much, let’s let them know how much we appreciate them.

A couple of us are planning a ride to Helen Ga. Mostly to just look around and for the ride. We are leaving the Pilot Station on Belair road and I-20 at 9 am. All are invited, the more the merrier. The ride will be great and there will be shopping.

A reminder that June 30th is bike night at the Snow Cap in N Augusta, we will leave the Pilot Station at 630pm and ride to the Snow Cap for the festivities.

A couple of important bits of info. On Thursday those who are going to the rally for the duration we will leave the Pilot Station at 8 am. We will probably stop in Washington for a biscuit on the way.

We are riding out for Anderson SC and the Flea Market. Jock-u-lot we will leave the Pilot Station at 8am Weather permitting. If it is raining we will cancel the trip.

I have been informed by several members that this week we are eating at Goolsby’s on Washington road across from Wal-Mart. We will leave the pilot Station on Belair road and I-20 at 630pm. Hope to see everyone there.

Hey all you Polar Bears!!

Its that time again, time to wing in the New Year. We will depart the Pilot Station between 1130 and 1145pm on Wednesday January 31^st to ride and Wing in the New Year. We will ride thru the 12 O’clock hour and end up in south Augusta where Lou and Sue Lepping have graciously provided sandwiches’ and soft drinks for all. Come on out and celebrate the New Year on a Wing.

11 April 2009		This looks to be a very good cause. Just $10 per head for the poker run and it is just over in Evans. This is one of our own local people from Harlem Ga. and needs our help. I think this is our chance to show our support of our troops and to help a local family at the same time. We will meet at the Pilot Station at 9am on Saturday to ride to Evans.

Chapter S will also be giving away the Georgia Travelers Plaque so let’s make a good showing and try to bring back the plaque.

29 January 2009		This week let’s try a new Italian café on Belair road called Amici’s. We will leave the Pilot Station on Belair road and I-20 at 630pm and ride about three blocks to the restaurant for some good food and great fellowship. I have never been to this restaurant so it will be a new experience for us all.

24 January 2009		We will ride out from the Pilot Station on Belair road and I-20 at 9am to ride to the North Atlanta Trade center in Norcross Ga for the Great American motorcycle show. This is the one with the Harley’s and choppers and such. The one for the New model Honda’s, Yamaha’s, Suzuki’s etc will be next month in Greenville SC and I will let you know what time we will leave for that one. Remember Saturday 9am ride to Norcross for the Great American Motorcycle Show.
