March 2008

As March begins so does the Timbers Training camp. It is that time of the year again as our team gets together. The Portland Timbers Supporters Club will be doing things as well. Those members who have not renewed their dues for the 2008 season need to get their money into Kathy. Yearly dues are  Single  $20    **Dual  $30    Family  $30*  (Plus $5 per Child)** 2 from the same household * Kids must be under 18 years of age.  Check out ST. PATRICK'S DAY @ Edgefield McMenamins for some fun. Monday the 17th I will be at the Loading Dock taking in some music. Tables go fast so be there early. Look for a Happy Hour Gathering Friday March 21st. Uber Alles will host this event at Gustav’s on Sandy Blvd., 3:00pm to 6:00pm. This Gathering is open to all Timber Fans.

The first Timbers preseason match is Friday March 28th at 7:00pm at the University of Portland when San Jose of the MLS play. Check Ticketmaster for tickets. On March 30th the Timbers travel to Forest Grove to take on Gonzaga University at 2:00pm. If you need tickets reserved e mail theptsc@yahoo.com. The PTOSC will have a Gathering at the Grand Lodge McMenamins at Noon in the Yardhouse Pub.

Thursday April 3rd the PTOSC Host the Preseason Meet & Greet at Kell’s starting at 7:00pm with this seasons Timbers. This event is open to all Timber Fans who would like to join the PTOSC. We encourage all our members to have their friends at this event to join our club. We will raffle some items as well. Bring your cameras and items to get signed by the players.

April 17th is the Timbers first home match against  Puerto Rico. It will be Timber Jims last game as he goes into retirement.

We have nothing to report on our proposals we sent to the Timbers front office at this time.

The Picnic with the Timbers is Sunday August  24th in Washington Park.
