About Website

This website grew out of my participation in the rec.woodworking newsgroup. Readers would post questions asking "Has anyone ever made a jig to ......" or "How do you ......". So I starting taking some pictures and I guess my vanity got the best of me. I rarely post to the newsgroup anymore and most of my visitors are finding this site using a search engine. My site has been in existence since 1999 and gets around 200 visitors per day according to statistics provided by my ISP. The page which receives the most hits is Jigs and Fixtures.

My website was developed using Adobe PageMill, a limited HTML editor which was bundled with my digital camera. I upload HTML source and photo images to my ISP using Ipswitch WS_FTP (Home Edition).

My website is pretty simple, basically just text with embedded hyperlinks to photos. But there are a lot of photos, so I have reduced them in size and resolution to make them load as quickly as possible. You may wish to bookmark my home page and come back again. After viewing a photo, use the back arrow on your browser tool bar to return to the page with the link.
