A certain man owned five automobiles : a Ford, a Chevrolet, a Plymouth, a Packard, and a Buick. These he kept in a five-car garage. When he engaged a new chauffeur, he explained how the cars were to be parked.

"The Buick must NOT be parked next to the Ford or the Chevrolet.
The Chevrolet must NOT be parked next to the Plymouth. Neither must the Packard.
The Ford must NOT be parked next to the Packard. Neither must the Chevrolet.
The Plymouth must NOT be parked to the left of the Ford."
