This solution starts the puzzle when it is in pieces. However, when one purchases the Sonneveld 9-pc burr, it comes already assembled. Therefore, all one has to do is to go through this solution in reverse.

Although a solution presented by Puzzlesolver 3D created by André van Kammen (which is now extinct) demonstrates a slightly different result, this solution is by far the simplest.



Up to this point, one can readily see that taking all three closed frames (A,C,D) in moves 1-6, and threading them onto B, can be considered 1 move.   Putting (F,G) within B can also be considered as a single move.
