POLLALIE TRAIL

WHERE:  From Portland go east on highway 26 to highway 35 which you will take north.  Follow 35 about 10 miles to a sign marking the trailhead on the east side of the road.

THE TRAIL:  This trail is unique because it combines many plants and trees that normally lie at lower elevations to the east of the cascades with flora that normally appear at lower elevations west of the cascades.  Western Hemlock and a few scattered Red Cedar along side Ponderosa Pine and Western Larch.
