The Fleet maintains an active racing and social program based on Fern Ridge Lake near Eugene, Oregon.
Our mission is:
- to ensure that anyone interested in dinghy sailing or racing has a chance to try the incredibly fun Lido 14, and
- to use the combined expertise of our fleet to help everyone get the most out of sailing their Lido.
We organize dinghy racing on Wednesday evenings throughout the sailing season – usually from the first of May through September. The current format is to run several nights of formal series races interspersed with a couple of nights of more relaxed activities. The objective is both to promote one-design racing of the Lido 14 and to promote the enjoyment of both the boat and the lake.
All Lido owners are welcome to participate; the starting horn is scheduled for 6:30 PM. You can either launch at Eugene Yacht Club (EYC) as a guest of the fleet, or at neighboring Richardson Park marina. Feel free to bring a beverage and something to share with our usual after-sailing tailgate parties.
